LiveCapture technology is in use at more than 175 healthcare institutions in 9 countries and has been implemented in numerous hospital environments including ERs, ORs, ICUs, cath labs and interventional radiology labs. Three LiveCapture implementations are detailed below.

Trauma Bay Screen
  Emergency Room Trauma Bay
  Trauma Hardware

LiveCapture encodes, streams and records the Trauma Bay’s four video feeds simultaneously. The feeds include two wide-angle PTZ ceiling mounted cameras that capture the movement and work flow of the trauma team, a boom mounted PTZ camera for a medium-range angle to capture procedures and the patient monitor in full resolution. The team can also opt to capture an ultrasound monitor instead. High quality audio is digitally captured from a mixed boundary microphone on the surgical boom and a ceiling mounted omni-directional microphone.

Any team member can initiate recording locally or remotely using a networked computer or their smart phone. LiveCapture autonomously tracks, trends and reports physiologic data from the patient monitor or ultrasound device. The end result is a comprehensive look at trauma treatment events that are used for debriefing, training and research purposes that can be performed anywhere on the hospital network with proper authentication.

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit ER Trauma Bay Screen
  Trauma Bay Hardware

LiveCapture captures the patient monitor, EMR and two camera angles in the PICU. One feed focuses on the patient and the other is a wide-angle to show activity throughout the room. Recording can be set to continuous or any logged in team member can initiate recording locally / remotely using a networked computer or their smart phone. Recorded sessions may be kept indefinitely or auto-deleted after a specified period of time.

LiveCapture autonomously tracks, trends and reports physiologic data from the patient monitor and all EMR activity is recorded in native resolution for 100% legibility. The end result is a comprehensive look at PICU treatment that is used for debriefing codes, quality assurance, training and research purposes anywhere on the hospital network with proper authentication.

    Interventional Radiology Lab Radiology Screen
  Radiology Hardware

LiveCapture trends, logs and reports on radiation dosage and pedal time during lab procedures while capturing two wide-angle PTZ ceiling mounted cameras that capture the movement and work flow of the surgical team. The patient monitor is also captured in full resolution. High quality audio is digitally captured from a mixed boundary microphone on the surgical boom and a ceiling mounted omni-directional microphone.

The lead nurse initiates LiveCapture recording from the attached control room. The end result is a comprehensive record of surgical procedures, radiation doses and overal radiation budgetary use that can be evaluated by a quality control expert locally, remotely, live or post. LiveCapture can generate reports and filter session lists based on radiation values or export all session data in a variety of formats (PDF, HMTL and Excel) for additional 3rd party software analysis.
