LiveCapture® is a breakthrough solution for improving patient safety and saving hospitals from costly medical errors through the recording and debriefing of clinical encounters. LiveCapture records video and medical device data for real-time or post analysis and is currently in use at top institutions such as Mayo Clinic, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. |

Through the use of LiveCapture, one hospital found that clinicians did not have adequate line-of-sight for equipment and time-keeping. As a result, equipment changes were quickly implemented, including the use of a new bag type with a pressure gauge in chest compression sightline as well as the installation of a wall-mounted clock.

Using LiveCapture, one hospital is able to routinely capture, review and assess all trauma cases. The comprehensive capture and ease of access for debriefing purposes has led to improvements in communication, equipment use and teamwork. |
Prior to the installation of LiveCapture, one hospital spent close to three months to complete a post-operative analysis for a single procedure. The process was labor-intensive and entirely manual. LiveCapture has since allowed for real-time analysis through an entirely automated capture and data synchronization process that is accessible from any authenticated computer in the hospital. |
Through the use of LiveCapture, one hospital revealed that less attention was being paid to sterile field practices. Thanks to LiveCapture’s multi-angle, simultaneous capture, multiple infractions were counted during a single procedure leading to immediate deployment of reeducation programs.

"The combination of procedure recording, checklists, performance review and feedback has not only led to measurable improvements in performance but also enhanced our auditing process. LiveCapture® is a key element of our overall system."
